The Furthest Point
A home for my adventures, experiences as an amputee and photography.
My name is Henry Morris I started this blog originally to show my journey with motorcycles and adventures but after a motorcycle accident in 2018 while commuting to work, I am now a left below knee amputee. My aim now is also to bring this new amputee adventure to you in a hope that, as well as helping me process it, that there may be some experiences and advice that may help other people starting the same adventure.
Thank you for visiting; with the links below or at the top of this page you can follow me on various adventures and check out my photography.
You don’t have to travel thousands of miles for an adventure!

I am currently training for an adventure that I will undertake later this year. I will be walking all 96 miles of The West Highland Way, to raise money for Day One Trauma support, wild camping the whole way. Please click on the photo below to take you to the JustGiving page.
Update….. Sam and I have got back from our attempt at the West Highland Way. on day 2 of our 7 day trip 12 miles in, an hour into day 2, my skin rubbed very badly in my prosthetic. I kept dressing it and plowing through, but it got worse every day, we managed to get 54 miles in before I had to bail out due to the damage it was doing to my skin. This was still a sterling effort and I wouldn’t have got as far as I did if it wasn’t for Sam and all the people spurring me along all that way. Even with this we still have managed to raise a whopping £2165 so far for Day One Trauma Support which makes it all worth it. it is such a good cause that supported me through my initial journey into the world of a major trauma patient.
